Job Opportunity: Pakistan Railways Police Careers Opportunity

Pakistan Railways Police seeks committed, disciplined, and physically fit individuals to join the force across various positions. These roles offer not just a job, but a purpose — to protect, serve, and maintain law and order within the railway network of Pakistan.

Available Positions

We are currently inviting applications for the following roles on a contract basis:

• Constables (BS-07)

• Lady Constables

• Bomb Disposal Squad

• Sub-Inspector Legal

• Workshop Support Roles

Openings are available for both male and female candidates, including civilians and ex-army personnel. Special quotas apply for underrepresented regions. This hiring cycle is being reopened as certain posts announced earlier (ad dated 18-12-2024 & 08-02-2025) remained vacant. Eligible candidates are invited to apply again. Applications must be submitted in person, via a relative, or by post by 10th May 2025. The physical test will commence on 15th June 2025 in designated Railway Police Lines nationwide.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

• For Constables & Lady Constables: Minimum Matriculation (Grade C or above). Candidates with higher qualifications will be preferred.

• For Bomb Disposal Unit: Intermediate with specialized certified training in Explosives Handling.

• For Sub-Inspector Legal: LLB or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  Note: In case of a lower grade in matric, higher qualification can compensate.

Age Limit

• General Candidates: 18 to 25 years

• Ex-Servicemen: Up to 30 years (service duration considered)

• Workshop Roles: Up to 30 years

• Government-mandated age relaxation applies up to 5 or 15 years as per rules.

Job Type

• Contractual Positions – with the possibility of extension or permanent induction based on performance and policy.

Job Location

• Positions are open nationwide including:

  • Punjab

  • Sindh

  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

  • Balochistan

  • Azad Jammu & Kashmir

  • Gilgit Baltistan

Each role is tied to specific divisions such as Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, and Multan.

3. Deliver your complete application to the relevant SP Railway office by 10th May 2025.

Important Notes

• Physical Standards:

  • Male: Min height 5’7″, Chest 34×33 inches

  • Female: Min height 5’2″

  • Running test: 1 mile in 7 minutes (male), 1 mile in 10 minutes (female)

• Only shortlisted candidates will proceed to written tests and interviews.

• No TA/DA will be provided for any recruitment process.

• Final selection will be subject to Medical Examination, Drug Test, and Security Clearance.

• Falsification of documents at any stage will result in permanent disqualification.
