Ayub Teaching Hospital (MTI-ATH), Abbottabad is a 1500-bed tertiary care hospital governed under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Teaching Institutions Reform Act, 2015 (and its amendments). As part of our continuous effort to improve healthcare delivery and support operations, we are seeking diligent, responsible, and locally domiciled individuals to join our non-clinical support team.

Available Positions

We are currently hiring for the following non-clinical support roles under Institutional Pay Scale (IPS-01):

• Ward Boy – 12 positions

• Ward Aya – 5 positions

• Naib Qasid – 2 positions

• Mesalchi – 1 position

• OT Attendant – 1 position

• Driver – 1 position (must hold a valid HTV license with 3 years’ experience)

• ST Bearer – 3 positions

• Cook – 3 positions

• Bearer – 1 position

• Dark Room Attendant – 1 position

• Dish Washer – 1 position

• Mali (Gardener) – 3 positions

All applicants must possess a valid registration card from the Employment Exchange Registration Office, Hazara Division.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

• Minimum Requirement: Preferably literate. Prior relevant experience will be considered an advantage.

• For Drivers: Valid HTV license and minimum 3 years of driving experience is mandatory.

Age Limit

• Minimum: 18 years

• Maximum: 40 years

• For Drivers: Minimum age is 21 years

• Age relaxation will be granted as per MTI-ATH policies.

Job Type

• Full-time Contractual Employment

• Governed under MTI-ATH/AMC/ACD Regulations (Amended July 2025)

• Employment subject to one-year probation and annual performance review.
