The Government of the Punjab, Directorate General of Literacy & Non-Formal Basic Education is dedicated to promoting education opportunities for underserved communities. To further its mission, the department is inviting online applications from enthusiastic and qualified individuals for hiring as Potential Middle (General) and Middle-Tech Teachers under Non-Formal Education Elementary School (NFEES) projects.
These roles are part of North, South, and Central Punjab Non-Formal Education Projects and cover 36 districts across Punjab. Teachers will play a key role in imparting education to learners who have completed primary school, ensuring they gain both academic knowledge and practical skills.
Available Positions

Middle (General) NFEES Teacher – 470 Positions across 36 districts
-
Middle-Tech NFEES Teacher – 75 Positions across 10 districts (Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Sialkot, Jhelum, Sargodha, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Muzaffargarh, Khanewal, and Multan) in specializations such as Agriculture, Livestock, Fundamentals of Cooking, Dressmaking, and Beautician.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications

Middle (General) Teacher: Graduation with at least 50% marks (Higher qualifications preferred).

Middle-Tech Teacher: Matriculation with at least 50% marks and a 1-year or 3-year diploma in the relevant field (Agriculture, Livestock, Fundamentals of Cooking, Dressmaking, Beautician). Higher qualifications preferred.

Domicile & CNIC Requirement

Must hold Punjab domicile and a valid CNIC.
Remuneration
-
Rs. 20,000 per month (part-time/time-bound contract basis).
Job Type

Part-time, Contract Basis until 30 June 2026 (extendable subject to project evaluation).

Selected teachers must arrange a suitable room for the school in coordination with the Literacy Mobilizer.

After selection, teachers must register 15–30 primary school graduates (ages 10–16) on the NFEMIS portal.
