The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is an independent and constitutionally established body responsible for ensuring free, fair, and transparent elections in the country. To strengthen its capacity, the Commission is inviting applications from qualified and motivated Pakistani nationals for multiple positions under prescribed provincial and regional quotas. • Fact Checker (BS-16) – Total Vacancies: 04

  • Punjab: 02 (including Islamabad)

  • Sindh (Rural): 01

  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 01

• Data Entry Operator (BS-14) – Total Vacancies: 14

  • Punjab: 03 (including Islamabad, 01 Women quota, 01 Minority quota, 01 Disabled quota)

  • Sindh (Urban): 02

  • Sindh (Rural): 03 (including 01 Women quota)

  • Ex-FATA: 02

  • AJ&K: 01

  • Gilgit Baltistan: 01

• Naib Qasid (BS-02) – Total Vacancies: 14

  • To be filled on a local basis

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

• Fact Checker (BS-16):

  • Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education)

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience (preferably with international NGOs)

  • Strong knowledge of electoral context in Pakistan

  • Proficiency in MS Office and excellent written communication skills

• Data Entry Operator (BS-14):

  • Bachelor’s degree with a 1-year diploma in Computer/IT

  • Strong command of MS Office and IT applications

  • Ability to type at least 40 words per minute (English and Urdu)

  • Skills in internet use, data security, and multitasking

• Naib Qasid (BS-02):

  • Primary pass

Age Limit

• Fact Checker (BS-16): 28 years (including relaxation as per government rules)

• Data Entry Operator (BS-14): 18–28 years (including quota relaxations)

• Naib Qasid (BS-02): Up to 25 years

• Note: General age relaxation up to 65 years may apply as per government rules.

Job Type & Tenure

• All posts are on a regular basis under government service rules.

Job Location

• Candidates must be willing to serve anywhere in Pakistan where posts are available.

How to Apply

• For the posts of Fact Checker (BS-16) and Data Entry Operator (BS-14), candidates must apply through the ECP Online Recruitment System at www.ecp.gov.pk or jobs.ecp.gov.pk within 20 days of publication.

• In addition to the online application, applicants must submit a hard copy of the application form, CV, attested copies of academic and experience certificates, CNIC, and a passport-size photograph to P.O. Box No. 1418, GPO, Islamabad within 30 days.

• For Naib Qasid (BS-02), only hard copy applications (with all required documents) should be sent to P.O. Box No. 1418, GPO, Islamabad within 30 days.

• Clearly mention the post applied for on the envelope.

Important Notes

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.

• No TA/DA will be admissible.

• Test/interview stations will be decided based on the number of candidates.

• The authority reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel recruitment at any stage.

• Applications received after the deadline or incomplete will not be entertained.
