The Forest Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is inviting applications from motivated and eligible individuals for various positions in the Dera Ismail Khan and Tank districts, specifically in areas falling under the D.I. Khan Forest Division. These roles are vital for strengthening forest protection and environmental conservation efforts across the region.

Sheikh Badin Forest Range (Tehsil Kulachi): 1 Post
Chohar Khel Forest Range (Tehsil Paharpur): 1 Post
Forest Range Darazinda (Tehsil Jandola): 2 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Forest Guard (BPS-08):
Intermediate (F.Sc – Science) from any recognized board.
Forest Guard (BPS-09):
Matriculation from a recognized board. Candidates with a relevant degree or experience in forest-related work will be given preference.

Age Limit

18 to 25 years for all positions.
Age will be calculated up to the last date of application submission.
Relaxation in upper age may be granted according to government rules.

Physical Standards

Minimum height: 5 feet 6 inches
Chest: 32″ – 34″
Must be physically fit and able to complete a 3 km run in 15 minutes.
Physical fitness will be verified during the recruitment process.

Job Type

Contract-based government positions with training requirements.
Selected candidates for Forest Guard posts must undergo a one-year mandatory training at the KP Forest School, Thai Abbottabad.

Job Location

Positions are based in the Forest Ranges of D.I. Khan and Tank Districts.
Local candidates with relevant forest rights certification will be prioritized for designated quotas.

Online Application Procedure

Visit the ETEA website: https://etea.edu.pk
Create a profile and verify it in person at a biometric verification kiosk with your original CNIC.
Without verification, you cannot apply for any post.
After verification, generate and print your fee deposit slip from the ETEA portal.
Submit the application fee through EasyPaisa, NADRA E-Sahulat Center, or using mobile wallet apps.
Save the original deposit slip and ensure you have your roll number slip for the test.
No physical documents need to be sent to ETEA or any office at this stage.

Shortlisted candidates will receive roll number slips and test details via SMS.

Important Note

Only those with valid domicile of D.I. Khan or Tank (except Tehsil Darazinda and Jandola) are eligible.
Government employees must apply through proper channels.
False or incomplete information will result in cancellation of the application at any stage.
Shortlisted candidates will first take a written test, followed by a physical test, and then interviews.
Successful Forest Guard candidates must submit a security bond of Rs. 300,000 to ensure 5 years of service.
No TA/DA will be provided for test or interview.
The department reserves the right to modify, reduce, or increase the number of vacancies.
Minority quota seats will remain vacant if not filled by eligible candidates.
Forest rights quota candidates must provide valid documentation from the Revenue Department.
