The National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) works under the Federal Government to coordinate and implement national strategies against terrorism and extremism. To strengthen its security operations, NACTA invites applications from retired, physically fit Armed Forces personnel who are committed to serve the nation with integrity and professionalism.

Positions Available

• Applications are invited on a contract basis for the following posts:

• Inspector (Security) – BS-16

• Sub-Inspector – BS-14

• Assistant Sub-Inspector – BS-11

• Constable (Operator – Communication Unit) – BS-07

• Constable (Intelligence Operator) – BS-07

• Constable (Field Cadre) – BS-07

• Commando – BS-07

• Lady Constable – BS-07

Eligibility Criteria

Educational & Service Background

• Applicants must be retired personnel of the Armed Forces of Pakistan holding the equivalent rank required for each post (e.g., SM/Sub for Inspector, N/Sub for Sub-Inspector, Havaldar/Naik for ASI, Lance Naik/Sepoy for Constables).

• Must be medically and physically fit to perform full security duties.

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in security operations and handling of modern security systems.

Age Limit

• Inspector (Security): up to 52 years

• Sub-Inspector: up to 50 years

• Assistant Sub-Inspector: up to 48 years

• Constables / Commandos: up to 45 years

• Lady Constable: up to 40 years

• (Age is calculated as of the closing date for applications.)

Job Type & Location

• Contract appointments initially for two years, extendable up to eight years based on performance.

• All posts are based at NACTA Headquarters, Khayaban-e-Suhrawardy, G-7/1, Islamabad.

General Instructions

• The contract may be terminated by either party with one month’s notice.

• Appointees will perform duties such as:

  • Managing boundary walls and watch towers

  • Controlling main gates and vehicle entry

  • Overseeing visitors and staff movement

  • Operating modern security and surveillance systems

  • Enforcing security SOPs

• Selection will be subject to security clearance and medical fitness.

• No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/interview.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for assessment.
