Position: Deputy Director IT Procurement
Age Limit: Maximum 44 years

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field recognised by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
• Preferred: a Master’s degree in Computer Science or an MBA (added advantage).

Age Limit

• The maximum age limit is 44 years. Note: 5 years of age relaxation is already included.

Job Type

• Contract: Initial period of 5 years, extendable based on performance and requirements.

Job Location

• Islamabad

Professional Experience, Responsibilities, Skills & Competencies

• Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in procurement, with at least 8 years in IT procurement in a reputable organisation.
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading large-scale IT procurement assignments.
  • Draughting, negotiating, and managing contracts, particularly in the public sector.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with government procurement regulations.
  • Identifying risks and ensuring smooth procurement processes.
  • Keeping up with market trends and procurement best practices.
  • Accurate documentation, data collection, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with procurement of IT hardware, software, and related technologies.
• Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and regulations.
  • High accuracy in data collection and analysis.
