The Pakistan Army invites patriotic, disciplined, and determined individuals from across Pakistan, including Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, to join its ranks as Junior Commissioned Officers (Naib Khateeb) and Soldiers (Sipahi). Recruitment will be open from 1st September to 23rd November 2025 across various Army Selection and Recruitment Centres (AS&RCs).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb): Dars-e-Nizami from a recognized Islamic institution, verified by HEC. Hafiz-e-Quran and Arabic fluency are preferred.
General Duty Soldier / Driver / Military Police: Minimum Matriculation. Middle pass is acceptable for certain regions (e.g., Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan).
Clerk: Minimum Intermediate (FA/FSc), with preference for computer-literate candidates.
Technical Soldier: Matric (Science) with at least C grade. Higher qualifications are a plus.
Sanitary Worker: Minimum Primary education required. For minority candidates, no education limit.

Age Limit (As of 24th November 2025)

Naib Khateeb: 20 to 28 years
(Serving soldiers: 22 to 35 years with 1–16 years of service)
Soldier (General Duty, Clerk, Tech, Driver, Military Police): 17.5 to 23 years
(Age relaxation available for certain areas and categories)
Sanitary Worker: 17.5 to 35 years

Age Relaxation Criteria:

1-year relaxation for highly qualified individuals

2 years for families of martyrs and injured soldiers

3 years for residents of underdeveloped districts of Balochistan and KP

Physical Requirements

Naib Khateeb: Minimum height 5’3” (160 cm)
General Duty Soldier / Driver: Minimum height 5’6” (167.5 cm)
Military Police: Minimum height 5’8” (173 cm)
Clerk / Technical: Minimum height 5’3” (160 cm)
Sanitary Worker: No fixed height requirement

Candidates from tribal or remote areas may receive height relaxations.
