The Government of Punjab, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has launched a groundbreaking initiative to empower young veterinary professionals. Through the Veterinary Graduates & Para-Vets Internship Program 2025-26 (Phase-I), the Livestock & Dairy Development Department invites motivated candidates to gain valuable field experience while receiving a monthly stipend.
This program reflects Punjab’s commitment to modern livestock management, animal health, and youth employment.
AVAILABLE POSITIONS
- A total of 1,000 internship opportunities are open across Punjab districts under Phase-I:

Veterinary Graduates (Vets) – Monthly stipend PKR 60,000
-
Para-Veterinary Staff (Para-Vets) – Monthly stipend PKR 40,000
- District-wise quotas are available on the official portal. Internships run during 2025-26, providing hands-on learning at government livestock facilities.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Educational Qualifications

Veterinary Graduates (Vets):

DVM degree from an HEC-recognized institution

Valid Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC) registration

Para-Vets:
-
Two-year Livestock Assistant / LAD diploma or equivalent from a recognized institute

Age Limit

Veterinary Graduates: Maximum 25 years

Para-Vets: Maximum 20 years
Other Requirements

Punjab domicile

Basic knowledge of smartphone use for field reporting

Not currently employed in any government or semi-government organization
